2026 HOME OPENER - MOUNTAINEERS JR A LACROSSE
On Saturday May 23rd, the 2026 Regular Season for your Junior A Mountaineers will take them Home to the comforts of Mimico Arena. Gametime is 7PM. Please come early as we will have Player Introductions, and a tribute to former player James Guest who passed away unexpectedly at home in December of 2025. We invite all former players who were teammates of Jimmy’s to join us on the floor during the tribute. We will play the 2026 Season in his memory, with his initials on our chest.
This 1st Game is also the opener for the Annual Greg Crombie Cup as we face off against the Toronto Beaches. The Beach took the Cup last season, we are hopeful to take it back from them in ‘26. The winner of the home and home series total goals for versus goals against if we split the result of the two games.
Looking forward to seeing everyone out at the MIM. We will be serving Great Lakes Brewery Lax Lager, with new members joining the pack this season. More to come on the latest members to be featured on the cans.
